Insulation joint installation requirements

(1) Insulation joint installation position away from the pipe elbow, to avoid welding to be welded within 50 meters.

(2) When installing in the ground, avoid installing it in the low-lying area where the pipeline runs.

(3) It is not advisable to lift the pipeline within 5 m from the joint after the insulation joint is connected with the pipeline.

(4) Insulation joint pressure test together with the pipeline.

(5) After-construction welding site requirements for the entire insulating joints again insulation treatment, are not allowed to make the insulation joint surface temperature is higher than 120 ℃.
