Define
To perform insulation and seclusion among each section of steel pipe, pipelines and equipment to avoid flowing off of electricity because of Cathodic protection;
to reduce galvanic corrosion and disturbance of disorder current etc. The Joint can effectively protect steel pipelines from electrical-chemical corrosion ,
extend their using lifespan and prevent electric components of equipment from disturbance of disorder current.
Character
High insolation performance .The insulation ring of rigid insulation joint is made of high resit compression (not less than350N/mm2),
low water absorption, high electrical insulating and anti-aging materials. Insulation resistance value is more than 10MΩand it is far greater
than other insulation joint resistance,hence,its greatly improve the insulation and reduce the leakage current. In addition,as the sleeve (assembly) is annular space.
It is injected polymer composite and resin with low viscosity to make it has certain compression strength. it can give full play to the cathode protection and improve
the operation of the protected pipe life.
High rigid characteristic.Rigid insulation joint formed a rigid cylinder that far greater than pipeline bending section coefficient Cause it can bear larger
bending moment (According to the same strength of pipeline design),It eliminates the leakage accident caused by unreasonable structure with insufficient stiffness insulation joint .
long working life. The unitary insulation joint (directly buried and without maintenance)
is use of O&U type self-tightening sealing to seal the laminated section of insulating ring. It’s completely avoid the moisture under the water pressure test and stop
the soil moisture infiltrate the joint interior. we adopt the king of rubber (fluorine rubber) to seal, It makes function of anti-aging much more strong.
meanwhile,the working life of insulation joint are equate to the pipeline life.
Directly Buried and Without Maintenance. As the high insolation, credible sealing and same working life as the pipe,
it doesn’t need any maintenance and can be buried under the earth directly without the setting of observation well
