(5) The quick-switching blind plate on the transceiver tube of the pig should not face the residential area or building (construction) area with the spacing less than or equal to 60m;

(6) Sewage oil pool should be provided under the blind tube of the pigging transceiver. Sewage tanks shall be provided in the pigging area. The slop oil of the pigging operation shall be collected and disposed of in a centralized manner and shall not be discharged at will;

(7) The pigging shall adopt a closed pigging process;

(8) When the emissions from natural gas pigging contain Class A and Class B liquids, separation equipment should be introduced to recover the condensate and the gas is discharged to a safe area.

1. The pig collection and delivery tube is an important part of the pigging line cleaning equipment. It is installed at both ends of the pipeline for transmitting and receiving the pig. It is mainly composed of a quick opening blind plate, a cylinder body, a reducer pipe, a saddle bracket and the like.

2. Classification: The receiving and sending balls are divided according to the purpose: A type and B type are used for transmitting and receiving ordinary pigs. A, B type difference: A type material is taken over the side of the cylinder, and type B is above. ;

3. Connection and installation of the pig transceiver barrel: a) The installation of the ball and socket is divided into two types: ground and underground. Underground installations need to be equipped with silos, and the installation and delivery of the ball cylinders and the loading and unloading of the pigs are not easy to use. b) When installing on the ground, the receiving and sending ball cylinder is horizontal, and the height of the center from the ground is generally about 1m. It is connected to the underground pipeline through the short pipe and the elbow. It is not suitable to adopt the oblique * connection. A vent valve should be provided at the upper end of the open-opening blind plate near the transceiver ball. Safety valve and pressure gauge, sewage valve on the lower part, and oil (gas, water) valve on the side to take the medium from the main pipe as the power and output medium for driving the pig.

Answer: The pipe pig has a requirement for the radius of curvature of the elbow. Different models (different by type and type of pig) and different sizes of pigs have different requirements on the radius of curvature of the elbow. In general: in addition to the requirements of the straight pipe pig is 1 when DN ≤ 65mm, the radius of curvature of the elbow should meet R ≥ 4D, 2 when DN ≤ 100mm, the radius of curvature of the elbow should meet R ≥ 2D, 3 when DN ≥ 150mm, The radius of curvature of the elbow should satisfy R ≥ 1.5D. The requirements of other pigs are generally 1 when DN ≤ 100mm, the radius of curvature of the elbow should meet R ≥ 2D, 2 when DN ≥ 150mm, the radius of curvature of the elbow should meet R ≥ 1.5D.

The radius of curvature of the elbow R ≥ 1.5D can meet the requirements, of course, the larger the R, the better. I also very much agree with the manufacturer's view that the larger the R, the better. The larger the R, the lower the thermal stress of the pipe will be. The larger the R, the better the effect of the ball. However, the project still needs to consider saving the investment for the owner. It cannot be wasted and fulfills the professional responsibility as an engineer. It is best to use an elbow that achieves the radius of curvature of the elbow of this type of pig, without the need for higher requirements.
