Polyurethane Flexbile Pig (without any metal parts)
Flexible pigs consist of a lead cup and a follower cup,made of polyurethane compounds and are used for inhibitor applications in pipelines.
Inhibitors are used to treat problems on the pipe surface such as formations of wax deposits ,bacteria colonies and corrosion.
The function of a lead pig is to clean the line and contain the liquid in a full column form in conjunction with the trailing pig .
Each filming pig is individually sized to the ID of the pipe ensuring a consistent sequence effect and uniform distribution of chemical during application.
